In the latest episode of “Heartfelt Recipes from a Coffee with CSF”, Tommaso Marrone, CEO & Founder of CSF, is joined by a very special guest: Lidia Barletta, Scientific Coordinator at the San Michele Clinic.

Together, they’re taking us on a journey through memories and traditions, looking back at an incredible family story. It all started with Lidia’s grandfather, a gynaecologist who was on a bit of a mission to tackle a major health crisis of his time: high perinatal mortality rates. With a proper bit of foresight and courage, he decided to turn a family villa into a clinic. It was a move that didn't just change his family’s history, but helped shape the local area too, creating a facility that’s grown over the years to become a real pillar of the local healthcare scene.

But every story has its own flavour, and today we’re discovering Lidia’s favourite: sweet and sour courgettes. It’s a simple but special dish, tied to her childhood memories of when her mum used to make it for family guests, turning every occasion into a moment of proper connection and warmth.

Showing us how it’s done is Chef Diogene Comelletto, straight from the kitchen at Casa KBirr in Torre del Greco. With his expertise, he’s showing us how these authentic flavours are the perfect way to tell a story and keep traditions alive.
